Bluegrass Karting & Events, a locally owned Louisville favorite for recreational high-speed go-karting, has announced their merger with Cincinnati-based Full Throttle Adrenaline Park and Detroit-based Kart2Kart. Bluegrass Karting & Events will be rebranded as one of the Full Throttle Adrenaline Parks' locations throughout the Midwest on Thursday, July 22nd at 12 pm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI), The Chamber of St. Matthews, and The Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce. An open house will follow the ribbon-cutting and last until 2:00 p.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is free and open to the public as well as members of the press. The event will be held at 2520 Ampere Dr, Louisville, KY 40299. Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided. A tour of the facility and opportunities to experience their high-speed go-karts, axe throwing, rage room, and mobile axe throwing trailer will be available.
"We couldn't be more excited to join our friends at Full Throttle and Kart2Kart to grow our businesses that have touched so many lives. The merger has been in the works for quite some time, but we wanted to celebrate the 10-year anniversary on June 23rd at Bluegrass Karting to recognize all of the special things we have accomplished over the past 10 years. Now, we are excited to join a larger organization and take our Bluegrass hospitality to some other markets," states Justin Lewis, the founder of Bluegrass Karting & Events and OVRDRIVE (both a part of the merger), a recently opened Downtown entertainment facility and sister-company of Bluegrass Karting & Events. He will serve as the President of Full Throttle Adrenaline Parks, overseeing Sales, Marketing and Operations functions.
In the last year, Bluegrass Karting & Events, Full Throttle Adrenaline Park, and Kart2Kart seized the opportunity to accelerate their growth strategies through mergers and acquisitions. As a collection of small businesses, the turbulent Covid economy could have been detrimental for all three businesses. Instead, they have merged, expanded their activities, and introduced a popular Adrenaline Pass bundle, which includes 2 hours of karting, axe throwing, and other activities (Adrenaline Pass activities vary by location). Full Throttle Adrenaline Park is utilizing this time to refocus on customer experience and value while positioning their business for substantial growth. Full Throttle is at the forefront of bringing adrenaline-inducing, exclusive activities to their markets, including high-speed go-karting and axe throwing lanes with digitally projected targets. Their brand and the adrenaline-filled activities that customers experience leave lasting memories.
Full Throttle Adrenaline Park has five locations throughout the Midwest. They are located in Cincinnati, OH; Florence, KY; Louisville, KY; Novi, MI; and Sterling Heights, MI. Full Throttle Adrenaline Parks provide safe, adrenaline-packed, memorable experiences through superior activities, facilities, and customer service. They encourage shenanigans and provide a fun, social atmosphere for thrill-seekers! Offering high-speed go-karting and axe throwing with unique (and changeable) digitally projected targets as well as spacious event venues for memorable parties and group events. Full Throttle Adrenaline Parks provide an adrenaline rush for the whole family!
